A week on Sebago Cove in Naples Maine

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that Nick and I spent a week up in Maine enjoying some time away from the city with the pups.  Using VRBO we found a small cottage on Sebago Cove, which is on the north side of Sebago Lake in Naples Maine.  The house was pet friendly and right on the lake - just about our only requirements.  The week away was just perfect.  The time flew by and its hard to believe its already been a couple of weeks since we were there!  Here are some pictures from our time away...

Holly and Arthur were not so into jumping into the water.  I think the leap in was a bit scary for them.  Had there been a walk out, I think they would have been more into the water.  We did get them life vests because we were not entirely sure of Holly's swimming capabilities.  Since we got one, we got the second for Arthur - even though he is a lab!  We thought we might go kayaking with them as well and the handles on the life vests make it easier to grab them if they were to fall out!

Renting a house for a week requires a bit more prep when you pack, but when you arrive it is so simple and relaxing.  I would highly recommend exploring Northern New England if you are looking for an easy vacation!
